Downloading the E-book

·       To load the Victorian e-book:              click on www.takeawalk.com.au/TAWVicEbook.pdf

·       When the file loads, you will be prompted to enter a password.

·       Your unique password will be emailed to you upon receipt of your order.

·       When the file opens, save the file onto your hard disc.

 Navigation.

ü  Open the file in Acrobat Reader.

ü  Enter your password – the file will open.

ü  Click on the Pages icon on the left of the screen to display a thumbnail of all pages in the book.

Apart from the Title Page, all pages have been formatted to display in a two page spread – just like opening a book.

This means that Page 3 in the Victorian e-book displays the two page spread – pages 4 and 5, etc. This is the contents page and the hyperlinks will direct you to the selected text.

Similarly, Page 6 in the Victorian e-book displays the two-page spread – pages 10 – 11. This is the start of the walks index and there are hyperlinks from every national park to the appropriate page in the e-book.

For both books, individual pages can also be accessed by selecting the page image from the list on the left, or by scrolling up to the Walks Index, Page 6, and clicking on the hyperlink for the appropriate park.

To print: select required page range, set printer to A4, Landscape.
